Hello, Friends,
In accordance with my goals for 2024, so far, I have released one song per month. If only I can get consistent with this blog once per month, to share said new song release. February's song is called "Instrument of Peace." It was inspired by the Peace Prayer of St. Francis of Asisi.
The song is more than just a melody, it's a mantra, a meditation, and a prayer wrapped in one. Graced with the classical guitar of Jaime Negrao, of Nelspruit, Mpumalanga, and the cover art painting of Christine Lester, of Graskop MP, I have to say, I love the way it makes me feel. I hope it makes you feel good too.
Each time I share a new song, it's an excercise in courage and vulnerabilty, as my songs are my soul's expression. While I still have a lot to learn about music production, I won't let my ignorance, imperfections and insecurities keep me from sharing now, before I have perfected my craft. The message compells me.
So, what will March's song release be? Honestly, I haven't a clue.
