Yes, I know I failed to release a song in April. I wrote a whole blog about it, "April's Come and Gone Without A Song." But I didn't release that either.
So, here's my May song. A tribute to my mama. She's no longer the same woman in the picture. Dementia stole her mind away, and much of her body. But I'm certain that the Spirit in her, the Spirit that helped form me, is alive and well, somewhere.
I got to fly back to the States and visit April 2023. I hope it's not the last time I get to see her, here on Earth.
